FIGHT AGAINST ANTISEMITISM…15 POINTS IN THE STUDY OF JEWISH HISTORY

  1. The population figures show beyond any doubt that the land of Israel was run down and relatively uninhabited when the Jews began their return to the Holy Land in the latter part of the 19th century.
  2. Saying that the land was relatively uninhabited does not mean that there was not a sizeable Jewish presence in the Holy Land. The best evidence for this is from the visit which Karl Marx made to the Holy Land, specifically Jerusalem, in 1852, and published an article in which he claimed that the Jews were 1. In a majority in the city of Jerusalem 2. Were the most oppressed 3. Were living in a situation of daily insult from the minority Muslims, who were both Arab and Turk
  3. The Jewish population in the Holy Land preceded the Arabs by over 1000 years. The Jews are indigenous to the area. They must be seen as one of the many nationalities and tribes which were placed in a colonial and oppressed position by the invading and dominant culture of Islam (The Arabs expanding from the Arabian peninsula)
  4. Some antisemites will say that that was a long time ago. The answer to these antisemites is that there was continuity. The Jews took many blows, one of which was their brutal suppression following the Bar-Kokhba revolt (http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/revolt1.html) but they 1. never separated physically from the Holy Land and 2. They began a Diaspora which never lost sight of their Homeland. Their Homeland was the Holy Land, known to the Jews as Israel, or sometimes as Zion, from which comes the name “Zionist”. In answer also to these antisemites 4international, who are Trotskyist materialists, will say that the species of Lucy lived about 4 million years ago in Africa, and that 3000 years in this context is but the blink of an eyelid. It is a relatively short period of time.  The Jews, and others such as the Celts, were Bronze moving into Iron Age people, and seen historically they begin to make sense. The arguments of these antisemites to “forget about history” are nonsense!
  5. The Balfour Declaration was the expression of a long period of unity between Christians and Jews, based on a growing understanding among many (not all) Christians of the debt that the Christian religion owed to the Jewish religion. Those who say that Balfour was simply looking after the interests of “British Imperialism” are laughably superficial and anti historical. But this expression of unity with the Jews was countered almost immediately by a deep racism and antisemitism which is deep within British society, an insularity and Fascist intolerance which is located inside the racism of British Empire thought and practice (in places like India and also not least in Ireland)
  6. The significance of the Riots in 1920 against Jews lie in 3 main themes. Theme 1: the emergence of Islam, the organization of Jihad, against Jews, led by Hajj Amin el Husseini; Theme 2: The adaptation to this Islamist Jihad on the part of the dominant British ruling class;  Theme 3: The emergence simultaneously of a European self hating or alter Jew in the form of Samuel, who began to repress the Jewish people in the Holy Land and to promote the Islamist Jihad against Jews and ultimately against all minorities, Christians, Christian Copts, Kurds etc.
  7. Following 1920 the next period of 2 decades are characterised by the growth of Fascism due to the terminal crisis in the world capitalist system, the development of the Stalinist reactionary machine, the catapulting of the Jewish people in the Holy Land and in the Diaspora into this real material situation of Imperialist powers, of Fascism and of the disorientation among workers caused by the growth of Stalinism, and the consequent forced repression and liquidation of principled leadership, which was Trotskyism. Consequently I argue that The Holocaust must be understood in this historical context, and that this for ideological reasons no Jewish group has to date ever done
  8. In his plan to create a very real and material “New World order” Hitler was 1. Primarily obsessed with the need to undo the 1917 Socialist Revolution in Russia 2. Carry the racism on which his movement was based by carrying out the total liquidation of the Jewish people. Hitler was torn between the capture of Russia and the capture of the Middle East region, the latter for oil, for a platform into North Africa which would be both a staging post for war with Asia and also with the United States, the latter in so far as it was based on American revolution principles of Free Speech and other aspects of the declaration of Independence
  9. The Holocaust of the Serbs, the Holocaust of the Jews, the suppression of all opposition in Germany, and the planned Holocaust of the Jews who had by now congregated inside The Holy Land: All of this must be seen more as a Unity than a Disjointed affair.
  10. The planned holocaust of the Jews, if the Nazis had won in North Africa under Rommel, in the area of the Holy Land, has been much ignored, but must be emphasised, because it leads to an understand of the real nature of the War of Independence of 1947 to 1949
  11. Without understanding the plans to extend the Holocaust of the Jews into the Holy Land in 1942 it is impossible to understand much of what followed, namely: the actual war against the Jewish state plans of 1947 to 1949,  the following wars which repeated on a pattern, which was mainly 1967, 1973, the intifadas, the OSLO ideological offensive
  12. The result of this history means that it was inevitable that the Jewish people have been damaged psychologically. In this regard most peoples on earth would have been totally spiritually destroyed. The Jews have survived because of their religion, which is tied in a thousand ways to their desire for freedom in their own Homeland. There are many Jews today who are living lives which are psychologically affected by the terrible body blows which have been struck against their people, and in many cases against their families. Not destroyed but definitely affected. To survive further an understanding of this is necessary. This effect must be guarded against and defended against.
  13. The declaration of war in June 1948 is the touchstone of this issue. This involves the wish of the Arabs to destroy the Jews, the influence of Islam, an exploration of Islam to make understandable this very real phenomenon, especially an investigation into the motivations of the Founder of Islam
  14. The declaration of war in 1948 by the Arabs also involves the decadence of the British “Empire”, in their support for the Nazis in the Holy Land, and also involves the decadence of US Foreign Policy in that the US Foreign Policy was working by this stage with Nazis throughout the whole world, and also involves the role of the Catholic Vatican, and its role in the promotion of its perfect state, Croatia, a fascist Clerical regime, and how the Vatican would henceforth work on the two main tracks, anti communism and antisemitism.
  15. To conclude this section it is necessary to boldly pose the issue of social revolution. A cadre must be formed and developed which is based firmly on the idea that matter is in continual motion, and matter in the form of capitalist economy also is in transition, that capitalism had a progressive period, but like everything else under the sun goes through changes, and these changes today mean a terminal decline. Jewish people, as in 1939 to 1945, cannot evade the consequences of the system in which we are all condemned by history to live within. This concludes these 15 points. The next 15 points will deal with how concretely Israel and Jews can survive. It will deal concretely with what to do with the Arabs who live in today’s holy Land, which is Israel. (I have used the term Holy Land because in my opinion, and it is arguable I concede, it is as useful an historical term as is “Palestine”, but people can use any term they wish. The term will not change one iota the seeking of the truth as to what did happen in history.
